Meet Darby, Our New Advanced Medical Aesthetician

If you've stopped by Frida recently, there's a good chance you've already met Darby. Whether she's greeting you at the front desk or getting ready for a treatment, she's quickly become a familiar face around the clinic, and we're so excited to officially introduce her.

Before stepping into the world of medical aesthetics, Darby spent eight years working in the design industry. While she loved the creative side of her career, she felt pulled toward something more personal: helping people feel confident in their own skin.

That passion led her to the Esthetic Institute, where she graduated with honours from the Advanced Medical Aesthetics Diploma program. Now, she's bringing that same eye for detail, creativity, and genuine care into every treatment she provides.

You'll find Darby offering a variety of advanced skin treatments while also spending time at the front desk, chatting skincare, answering questions, and helping make every visit feel as comfortable as possible. She believes that great treatments start with great experiences, and loves creating an environment where clients feel welcomed, supported, and completely at ease.

When she's not at the clinic, you'll probably find her exploring Calgary's food scene, spending time with friends and family, or planning her next creative project. Her background in design shines through in everything she does, from her attention to detail to the thoughtful way she approaches each client.

As she begins this exciting new chapter, Darby is looking forward to building relationships with clients and helping them reach their skincare goals, whether that's addressing specific concerns or simply taking time for a little self-care.
